How to make the Hot SpIced Cider #1 – Add allspIce, Cloves and Cinnamon stick to the Apple Cider and let simmer for 1 hour (or longer). This may not look like much spIce, but it really does make a pleasantly spIced cider.
How to make the Hot Mulled Cider #2 – In a large saucepan combine Apple Cider/Juice, Brown Sugar, and Nutmeg. for spIce bag, place Cinnamon, allspIce, and the 1 Teaspoon Clovess in Cheesecloth and tie, add to cider Mixture. Bring to boiling. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 10 minutes. Remove spIce bag and discard. Serve cider in mugs with a Cloves-studded Orange wedge in each.
How to make the Hot Mulled Cider #1 – Dump cider, Cinnamon sticks and a couple of Teaspoons of Nutmeg into a pot over very low heat. SlIce Oranges (after washing them well!!), and stick whole Clovess into the rind, then float in cider as it warms. That’s it. Drink when it gets warm. You can dump more cider into it up to a point when the spIces get old – then just start again with a new set of spIces, and a new Orange.
How to make the Apple Cider Punch #1 – If you use the whole allspIce and Clovess, tie them in Cheesecloth. Heat the Mixture. Stir occasionally. If you want an alcoholic drink, Rum would be nIce.
